Default Need help to choose LGA1366 mobo

Board will be paired up with an i7 920 D0 and will be OCed on air to 4.0 Ghz (at least I'll try). Which board is solid and great in general?

Budget is around $300 or less. Also which RAM would go well with it?

Thinking to throw a 750W modular Seasonic PSU in there, will be using my XFX 4890.

Cooler will prolly be the CM Hyper 212+.

I game at 1920x1200.

Thx guys!

This and this are both great boards. The X58A-UD5 is new, so no user review yet. But I have the older version of it without USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps (EX58-UD5), and it is an awesome board. 10 SATA ports FTW!

The X58A-UD5 or the X58A-UD3 would be my choices. The UD3 is quite a bit cheaper and doesn't loose all that much for features.

Well the UD3 will be nice and perfect if you don't need E-sata, then get it. If you need it UD5 is a hard to beat and the EVGA is also pretty nice.

I'm leaning towards Gigabyte or eVga, that Asus just looks ugly in my opinion ... well Gigabyte's colour schemes aren't very sexy either. lol

I'm still debating, in the end I should probably go with the cheapest thing that gives me what I need and it will all be in a Storm Sniper so there is no window to see what's inside the case so looks shouldn't count too much.

The OCZ Gold RAM 3x2GB any good? Other recommendations?

Thx for the input guys!!!

Asus Rampage II Gene. Oc'ed my 920 C0 like a champ to 3.9 w/1.30V Vcore. Using air, load temps were 70C using a Noctua D14 with 3 YLs.
Top notch board.

Default IDE port,PS2

If you realy overclock an IDE drive works better at high overcloks. Stata has voltage problems at the extreems. The ps2 Keybord can be usefull also on the Evga if you overvolt.

I heard the Rampage II Gene's IOH gets really hot under load, is it true?
