Default confused dot com

hi chaps,
is there a best order to start a build in?
the case manual starts with psu installation.
however a builders guide I got with a uk magazine starts with the mobo spacer lugs, then optical and hd drives.
then puts the cpu on the mobo before installing the mobo.
what do you guys recommend?

My System Specs

I always start with the PSU then you plug it so your case is grounded. then put the MOBO, CPU, COOLER, MEM, GPU and do all your cable. Then you can add HD and drive. That's the way I do but there is many many way to go.

hi guys
the h50 water cooler was a doddle to fit...thanx for the video it was great
couple of questions.
I have run out of fan headers on the mobo for the case fans as the watercooler takes up 2 fan headers.
I have a one to three female fan adapter that has been in a drawer a while [pictured below] -can i use this safely on this make of mobo fan header?
i have also ran out of the molex [if thats the right word] plugs on the psu because of the amount of old hdd's i have to install and the external sata port that needs powering; so cant use thes for fans.
also do you guys know what this left over pci panel is for? [pictured]
thanx for the help

thanx guys
now setting up the bios. its kinda got a lot more things in it than i remember.
the auto settings on the ram timings in bios are 8-8-8-20 1600mhz 1.5v
printed on the sticks of corsair xms3 ram is 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 1.65v.
are these mandatory settings that the ram should run at? or optional settings for over-clocking?
will OC in the future but just want a stable system to put windows on [if i can find it ] for now.
cheers guys
