Default Question about NCIX shipping

i took the free shipping option and heard i will be getting UPS as my carrier as a possibility.

how bad is UPS? (i live in ontario)

when UPS gets to my door do they charge any extra fees? (i already payed tax on the items on NCIX)

thanks.

No, there won't be any extra fees, but I hope you insured your shipment. UPS is notorious for damaging parcels.

Dude if you live in Canada and ordered from NCIX there won't be any extra "at the door" fees. Everybody here loves UPS......

Never had a problem with UPS here. I always get ExpressRMA though anyway.

thanks for all the quick reply.

i have express coverage. (realized afterwards that i only needed expressRMA since i don't have a lcd or netbook)

it was free shipping and it is my first time ordering from NCIX. didn't know they always use UPS, but any rough guesses of how long it takes to get to ontario?

and if the worst comes to happen, maybe UPS comes to my door with a half broken up box what should i do?

free shipping = longer ETA usually
Inspect your package right away. With UPS there are horror stories but Bud don"t lose sleep over it. Odds are your package will be fine.

In general, nobody writes about all the acceptable, decent and good experiences with UPS. People only write about the bad experiences.
The only thing you have to do now is to sign for the package.

It'll be UPS Ground, takes around 5-7 business days (mainly dependent on UPS f*cking up or not). Probably longer now though with all the holidays (New Years) and the additional load from Boxing Day shoppers.
