Default Building a gaming computer help

This is round 2 of my computer build that I would like to build in the next 2 weeks or so. I am seeing some good values and would like to move on them pretty soon.

Right now I am using a 24 inch monitor with 1920 x 1200 resolution.
I do not plan on over clocking or running multiple graphics cards.
My budget is around 700 give or take 100 dollars.

I will be using this computer for playing warcraft and what ever new games come out. I haven’t gotten a chance to play anything other that warcraft because my current computer has lots of heat issues. With that said I am worried about heat in this build. If you see any compatibility issues with the pieces please let me know or if you have any suggestions to improve the quality of my machine with out increasing the price too much.

Case

PSU

Is this too much power?

Video Card

I’m thinking about getting the Radeon 5770 but when I search new egg there are quite a few versions of it on Newegg and they vary in price. Can someone help me pick the best one.

I don’t plan on running 2 graphic cards.

Processor

I am still drawn between getting the cheaper Athlon x3 435 and the Athlon x4 630.

I don’t plan on overclocking it. Do these chips generally come with heatsinks or should I get a separate one.

Memory

or

Which is better for the money? Is there a better value out there with out sacrificing performance. Again I don’t plan on overclocking anything.

Mother Board
I was thinkign about the m4a785td-v evo

not real sure about this though any other suggestions would be welcomed.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on making this computer cheaper and better?

Welcome to HWC!
1: Go with the G.skill memory
2: You CPU is low end and you have high end GPU, this is NOT a well balanced build. The minimum CPU I would suguest is Phenom 2 X4 925. In a high budget limit you could go with the Phenom 2 X3 720.
3: I would also suggest to drop that PSU and go with a better brand like these few. The seasonic 650 is the best in the list then the corsair 550 and the antec 650. They will all give you more power then what your build can use and they will last longer for about the same price.

Would the chip I had selected bottle neck my card I have picked out? Is the phenom x4 worth the price bump?

Yes they worth the price up. The CPU you select are the lower in theire line up. For X3 the 720 is good and the X4 630 can be beatten by any good dual core with lower or same cost so yeah they worth the upgrade. I don;t know about bottle necking the card because I never read for 5770 but for sure it will get your performance down.

If you want something close to your original choices in price, you could try the 550BE, then see if you can get it to unlock. I know you don't like OCing (why is that, anyway) but you could still consider it.

Well the Athlon X2 720 is like less then 10 box more and it's pretty better. It seems fair to me isn't it??? Ho and only a coment. All time you change or chose a part Try tu update the first post so new people will be up to date to. I say that only because I am lazy ( hey it's Xmas break ) and like many other member I dislike to read entire thread. Hope you will get all the help you need my friend!

Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition $170

Athlon II X4 630 $112

Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition (New C3 stepping)$185

Core i5-750 $190

Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition$120

These are a few chips I'm thinking about I didnt include the AThlon x3 430 in this list but I was also looking at that one for price reasons. I think I am set on my radeon 5770 card. I just need to pick a chip and a Mother board to go with that chip. As of right now I dont plan on running 2 graphics cards but I may at some point in the future. I'm trying to keep this computer on the cheaper end so I dont upset my wife. But I dont want to sacarfice quality. If I have to spend 50 dollars more and end up getting another year out of my computer it would be worth it.

I would get the 720BE coz its the best of both worlds, the L3 Cache helps with gaming and the 3rd Core helps a bit in gaming too. I would get the Gigabyte 770T
