Exclamation Need Help With deciding on my new build from scratch

Hi Guys I'm Scraping my old specs and I'm now wanting you guys that have more experience than me to help be decide on what i should include in my build. Here are my guidelines:

1. What will YOUR PC be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Gaming (Into R.T.S games and the C.O.D series also video editing

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
Would really like to keep the budget in the $900 (Australian Dollars) Price range.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
Australia Using This Website (https://www.pccasegear.com) as i have had good dealing with them in the past But if any other Australian sites could be used that would be good to.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.
I have No Brand preference at all

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
None except my monitor

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes but i need i tailored to my needs

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Maybe in the future when i gain some more experince

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Over time Max One month

Thanks Guys This Site Is One OF The Best

Ok, so that what I have to suggest you. Price are pretty high in Australia I noticed so I over pass your budget a little. This site also have no really good choice like for PSU they only have High end and High priced PSU. There alist of suggestion but shop around in your contry andfor exemple if you can find a Corsair TX750 ( psu ) it should be around 130 I belive and that would be killer. So based on what I have done ( ebcause I don't know any other australian site ) look around and tells us your discovery. so there we are.
I am lazy so there is a screen shot of my cart.
You can also post me back some other site that you can order from and I will take my tour on them to see what part you should get from what vendor. Hope that help you! Ho and ifwe could save little money with other shop;) try to go I5 instead of AMD AM3.

Hm well after son looking at price seems to be about the same almost everywhere. Sometime you have 2 or 3$ lower so I think you should make a complete tour of these site with all the part.
Change some part for these and shop around if you see lower price.

Case - THREE-HUNDRED : Antec Three HundredTower Gaming Case : Bargain @ ddcomputer com au
PSU - CMPSU-650TXAU : Corsair 650W TX 650 ATX Power Supply : Bargain @ ddcomputer com au

For the other part as I say, shop around my friend. Ho I forget the wireless lan. This one is a bit pricey compare to other but Linksys have good reputation for the signal they provide. If you are gaming try to go wired.
LINKSYS WMP54G 802.11G PCI CARD Data rates up to 54Mbps Interoperates with Wireless-B networks WMP54G

Hope you have all you need;) if more is wanted, just ask:P
