Thoughts on this build?

Now that I have an interested buyer for my rig, I'm ready to start planning the new rig.

Here's what I am thinking.

Watercooled, already have the dual and tripple Rad's here. Red/Black theme, not original I know, but it'll be the only red/black themed PC in my house

ROG Maximus III Formula
PC3-1600 Ripjaws
Corsair HX850
I may keep a VelociRaptor for OS/Games until SATA3 SSD's go mainstream
Primochill Typhoon III w/D5
Primochill Primoflex tubing (RED) 3/8 ID 5/8 OD
Black Anti Kink coils 5/8 OD
HEATKILLER CPU Rev3.0 1156 (is there a good red 1156 cpu block?)

I have:
WD 1.5 TB Green (Storage)
GTX 296 (in the mail)
GTX 260 (PhysX)
Dell UltrSharp U2410 1900 x 1200

Plus sleeving, etc from Here

If I can sell the ATCS 840 I'm definitely getting a Corsair 800D to house this thing in.

Any thoughts on possible changes are welcome of course

I really love the features of the 800D, plus the 840 doesnt have a side window or internal powder coating - which the 800D has. So I can sell the 840 and get a window put in and powder coated black or I can just get the 800D.

Sell the GTX 260. You don't need it for PhysX. It'd be useful for Folding@Home though.

Now's not a good time to go with the 295, since the new ATI cards are already out and new Nvidia ones are coming. Also, a 260 is massive overkill for Physx. If you can, I'd send the 295 back and get a 5850 or 5870 instead.

Also, there's a new 1156 revision of the Apogee GT, so you might look into that.

Other than that it looks pretty good.

I would ditch the T3. There are many issues with this piece of "equipment" and google will prove this for you

I thought long and hard about getting a 5870, since the U2410 has display port aswell. I got the 295 from Kruzn at much cheaper than a 5870 + waterblock + taxes and shipping would go for in retail, perhaps I shoulda mentioned that.

Ive heard of a few of these Res's leaking in the beginning, which is why I left it for a bit - I've contacted a few owners on different forums which gave me positive feedback so I'm lead to believe early issues have been corrected?? I will do some more googling with your advice tho, thanks!

This build is still in the planning stages, my current system isn't even sold yet (soon hopefully)

What I do need advise on (totally forgot earlier) is compression fittings, my last water builds have been straight fittings so I'm thinking 45's for the CPU and both rad's and the rest can probably be straight compression?

Personally I would drop the ROG for something like a UD5 or only a standard P6t and put the extra money on better memory. Ripjaw is good but not made for high OC and enthousiast computing. For the rest it's a solid build that will be nice to see building or...folding:)

Hm... Maybe they did correct it. Or maybe there was just a bad batch? However, if you get that T3, make
sure to look over it before and after for any little fissures, cracks, etc etc.
