Mark my friend. GT 240 is overprice IMO. Go with a 4650 or 4670 or 9500 or 9600GSO (cheaper and perform better for 4670 and 9600 ) for the rest. It`s solid like you ever do.

Why not consider an AMD built ? Do you need a dedicated GPU ?

You could choose to go with DDR3 since its cheaper:

NCIX.com - Buy NCIX Value Bundle Deal AMD Athlon II X4 620 AM3 CPU & Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H DDR3 785G Motherboard - X4-620-MA785GMT-UD2H In Canada.

or even something like for cheaper and it uses DDR2

NCIX.com - Buy NCIX Value Bundle Deal AMD Athlon II X2 245 & Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H DDR2 Motherboard -UNASSEMBLED - 785GM-X2-245 In Canada.

For the PSU, why not go for the Corsair 400CX

Finally, for the GPU, I agree with Martin.

I want put a card around $ 100, was thinking a 9800 GT or a GT 240 , don't want to go too low in performance, I'm use to a 8800 GT on a 22" , the monitor of my dad is an lcd 19" not wide, so I'm looking at something near a 8800 GT in performance

Now do you think the 9600GSO can do ?

GT 240 have about the same performance compare to 9600 or 4670 but more pricy. for 100$ I woul say find a cheap 9800GT yyou will be better with that. Personnaly if your father wont game I wiould put a 9500 or a 4550 only for display.

I suggest these parts:

Newegg.ca - Intel Pentium E6300 Wolfdale 2.8GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops
Newegg.ca - SeaSonic SS-400ET Bronze 400W ATX12V V2.2/EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies
Newegg.ca - SAPPHIRE 100277HDMI Radeon HD 4770 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

The CPU will save you money while giving you almost the same performance, and the PSU will save you a few bucks while still being more than enough for your needs. And the video card is the same price but considerably more powerful.

So I gone a go with a 9800 GT,,, he told me that I have to make sure that my nefew and nice , will be abble to play their games . I was thinking to put my 8800 for the xmas time at after put him an extra 4650 , that I have,, but too much hassle with the drivers for only $ 20 save... anyway it's him who pay.

You should go with the 4770 I linked instead. It's much faster than a 9800GT.

400W would already be more. You'd be running a low-power CPU, a low-power GPU, and one hard drive off of it. We're talking about 200W of load at most here.
