Default memory question

Hi all,
It's been a full 6 years since I upgraded, so I'm treating myself to a few new components. My list so far:
  • i7 750
  • msi gd65
  • sapphire 5850
I'm pretty sure about these. The one thing I'm not sure of is the memory. There's a very appealing offer for 4gb OCZ ddr3 pc3-12800. I've heard ocz is possibly unreliable, but can't find anything concrete to back those rumours up.

The total for all this is ~$785 before tax, and I'd like to keep it below $900 at the most pre-tax. Do you think there's anything wrong with the choice of ram? What would be a better alternative?

that's an i5 Build not i7.

The reviews at NCIX might help you: NCIX.com - Buy OCZ Gold OCZ3G1600LV4GK 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 CL 8-8-8-24 Dual Channel Memory Kit - OCZ3G1600LV4GK In Canada.

I have no problem with OCZ ram, but there are some better deals on Newegg. G.Skill Ripjaw 1600MHz for under $100, for instance.
