Question My system opinions please!

Amd phenom II X2 550 black edit. Corsair 4gb 1333ghz 9-9-9-24 ram ga-ma790xt-ud4p samsumg 1.5tb spinpoint 3.5" hdd his-5770-1gbddr5. 2x samsun 20x DVD burner sh-223f 1 mulit card reader Sony mrw6206ua thermaltake m9 2x thermaltake 120mm blue fans thermaltake liteon 700w psu

drop this PSU, it's crap get something better like corsair or seasonic or antec. A corsair 550 will be way better compare to a Thermaltake 700W.

Is 550w going to be enough to run my system I haven't built a pc in 5 years thus is the first crack at a cp in ages what do you think about my system?

Lite-On PSUs are actually excellent quality. They manufacture many server PSUs, including Supermicro units.

A quality 550W PSU would be plenty for your system, but since you've already got a very good one there's no need for you to change it.

I was really lucky to I picked up the CPU 2 days ago plus a logitec ls1 mouse for $146 going to get the ram and a loigtec ultra flat keyboard next weekend it's all up going to cost $860 my mates getting ke a benq 24" monitor

You've got good parts, keep them. The PSU is good, not bad. I have one myself, the same one, runs very well.

Thanks dinder for the support on my parts thanks mate I don't have em yet I've got the case multicard reader and the x2 550be next is ram and keyboard as I said then bit by bit lol but it's a dream build for me I've never had a complete gaming system since my amd athlon xp 2400+ 1gb ram nvidia fx5200 with a msi board on board VGA sound and LAn
