My System Specs

Default Got some Ideas help me out

ok so i just sold my Mobo ram and processor SO now i need new ones!
I'm thinking:
I5 750
Evga Board Buy eVGA [132-LF-E655-KR] EVGA P55 ATX LGA1156 DDR3 SLI CrossFire 3PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI Sound GBLAN Motherboard that one
4GB DDR3 Ripjaws 1866mhz Buy G.SKILL [F3-15000CL9D-4GBRH] G.SKILL F3-15000CL9D-4GBRH Ripjaws PC3-15000 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1866 CL9-9-9-24 Core I5 Memory Kit

What other p55 boards should i consider (NOT the gigabyte ones they are ugly :P)
OR
should i just go i7, X58 and like 6gb ddr3?????
I game and overclock like a monster,i fold etc.....

I'm also ordering a Silverstone Raven2, Corsair 850watt modular PSU, Corsair H50 cooler.
AND i already have a 4870 and a WD 640gb black

So input would be good,
As i said before this pc is basically for Epeen and gaming, overclocking. I dont care about future proof because i sell my stuff every 6 months basically.

ok so it boils down to 200$ difference for the i7, x58, 6gb ddr3 compared to the i5, p55, 4gb ddr3
is it worth it?

base on this

"this pc is basically for Epeen and gaming, overclocking. I dont care about future proof because i sell my stuff every 6 months basically "

I will go for a i5 p55 , I think exactly like you... why care about upgrading, when at the end you change everything.

Yea im leaning towards it but ever since i read that horror story about p55 boards melting and ruinging the proc with overclocking because teh contacts didnt meet up nicely :( so im very nervous of going i5 p55 route.

that's the one with the foxconn socket... it happen over 5,0 ghz , how far you want to go with your OC ? I think Linux in a post confirm than MSI use only the new socket now, the name slip in my memory
