My System Specs

Default upgrade opinion

hey guys. i built a computer during the summer and thinking of upgrading my 2 gtx 285's with a 5870x2 when it comes out. Do u think that is good? if so, would i have enough money to buy one if i sold both my cards? they are BFG OC+ editions. And i hear the card is pretty long. will i be able to fit it in my Thermaltake Armour Full tower case???

thanks

I would suggrst to sell one of the GTX 285, run on only 1 because it will give you enough performance for probably the bext 2 years, take the 400$, buy roses for mom or girlfriend, and take the rest for having good time. I don't know spending it on a TV or thing like that.

Martin has a good point....Been using 2 x 4890 in crossfire. I recently remove one, and don' see a big difference.... may be I'm just not enough on gaming too.

Well the point is that most of the game does not have a really good support for cross-fire or sli so it never give you such an amazing difference. When game will be abble to run card at the max when sli then you could get a second card but for now...just give me the second 285:P

Having twin 285 GTX's I don't really see the need to upgrade that at all.
Save the money and wait.
