Default New Build Suggestions

Here's what I would like. Please be practical about what type of machine I should build, I'm not that rich.

I am an Airbrush and Sign Artist and gamer so I need something to run games like flightsim 10 and such that put a huge load on a machine. I also need it for daily use using AutoCad, Photo shop, Illustrator, Corel draw to name a few.A fair bit of Graphic arts programs basically.

This isn't a machine I'm going to build right away but I will purchase parts as I can afford them $2000.00
is about what I"ll spend.

If there is anything I have missed let me know and I will edit this post.

Bear with me folks, I'll pick some stuff out and you can give me some feedback if you will on wether it's good or bad rather then having you figure out what I want.
I will price match stuff later.

Thanks Gang.

Well, actually the market isn't really clear about video card and thing like that. I would suggest a AMD X4 like 945 with a little Gigabytes board + good DDR3, G.skill patriot corsair or kingston if no OC. Try to add more details and you will have decent answer with build suggestion.

Ask for more.

For 2000$, I'd probably pick up a W3520, an eVGA 758 A1 or 760 A1, 6GB of the 105$ OCZ Obsidian or 12GB of Mushkin's new Blackline (3 sticks of 4GB) when they're out in Canada.
Latch on a 5870 or 2, an 80GB Vertex or other SSD. Grab a Mega, overclock the 3520 to 4.0-4.4GHz, and have happy gaming times.

PM everything, you should save at least $100. I would suggest a smaller and cheaper case. You gonna paint it?

A 1000W is kinda overkill. For half the price, get a TX750. Even that is way more than your system can consume.

Oh yeah hell even get an HX650 1000W is waaaaaaaay too much. You could run that on like a 450w....

Oh ok thanks for the advice. So when would someone need a large power supply? The other thing is should I perhaps go with a really small first harddrive to handle just the operating system and put the games and such on a seperate one? Would this make the operating system faster? I'm trying to make this system as fast and efficient as possible.
