Default Upgrade advise

I am undecided what upgrade will be better for my computer(check signature).I have some extra parts to:
- E6750 Intel
- 2x2 Gb Mushkin PC 6400

1.UPGRADE to HD5870 or HD5850: - sell the extra parts witch i have and the video card
2.UPGRADE to Q9550 and HD5850: - sell parts from above plus the E8400
3. I will take in consideration any other ideas

I know what i would do but it might not necessarily be the best thing to do :-P- I would buy the 5870.

It's a bit of a shame that you have watercooling but your overclock is limited by that motherboard.

I have to do some water cooling changes to.I did 4Ghz stable, but for now 3.6Ghz is more than enough.I think i will go for HD5870.

One more question:
My CPU will not bottleneck HD5870?

So you're asking what to upgrade for your rig in sig? I say sell the E6750, but keep the Mushkin RAM just in case your current RAM fails. Then consider getting a ATI 5850, then sell your ATI 4870.

What resolution do you game at? I'm assuming you're a gamer...

For good 1680x1050 gaming a 5850 and a 955 with 4gb of ram will get you 100fps each game thats out cranked full tilt aside from a few. I know this cause i just went from an am2 x3 720 and with a 5870 i managed to mop the floor with every game i have on my macihne full tilt 1680x1050.I eneded up upgading further when i got my 27" monitor.
