Not too shabby at all. My system is a bit higher end then yours, but similar specs and ive yet to find a game that gets less then 90fps @ 1900x1200 everything cranked to hghest setting.

Looks nice. The only thing I can say is research is your friend on the processor. Depending on what site you check for reviews on the athlon II 620 you will get different results. Some show it doing very well compared to phenoms like the 550/710 etc, however, some show it taking a fairly decent hit in FPS in games. If you want to be on the safe side for a gaming machine I would say swap the processor over the the fastest phenom II you can budget.

Some reviews to show you what I mean:

Positive review from Tom's Hardware (very good avg fps, but lower min fps): - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...-cpu,2439.html

Anandtech review (in gaming section it takes up to a 20 fps hit vs the 720 and 550) - AnandTech: AMD Athlon II X4 620 & 630: The First $99 Quad Core CPU

If you do multitasking on top of gaming the extra cores are excellent, but in gaming the cache of the phenoms can help out.

Personally I would go up little with the CPU X3 720 is about same price and perform better you have plenty of choice. I would also drop the CM700 and get a better PSU like corsair or seasonic or antec. There is many PSU way better in better brand on the same price range. for the rest it seems ok to me.

Ask for more.

Reconsider the CM 700W.

+1 on corsair or seasonic PSU

My System Specs

Default re

Alright

MSI 785GM-E65 mATX:
Good, don't expect high overclocking with it, limited in upgradability for the long run. Desactivate the onboard video graphic as you may have problem with it.

Athlon II X4 620:
Could be good for the long run, but like said above, go with the fastest phenom II you can afford. I got a 720 be and I am really satisfied with it. The majority of today game use the full potential of high MHZ & dual core and only a few fully use the 3 or 4 cores. If you play game, I really suggest to go with a 710 or a 720, it's a really good bang for the buck ratio.
I would prefer a athlon II x4 620 for a desktop office use.
For the gamer go with a higher L3 cache, help (not all) game for loading etc...

A-Data 4GB(2x2GB) DDR3 1600:
seem ok, have not see or read any review about it. Maybe more reading will help!

CM Silent Pro 700W
You could go lower on the power supply. Corsair, PC power & cooling or Antec offer great deal these time. Have a look.

ASUS HD 5850:
Nothing is wrong here... ^^

Antec Mini P180: Be sure your graphic card will be well ventilated in this case.Overall a great product.

That's my point of view!

Alright great feedback! Thanks a lot!

So What I'm hearing is that the most important changes to make are in the PSU and CPU area's.

I did choose the Athlon II X4 based off of Tom's Hardware review of it. Thanks for the links to those other reviews though! I'll see if I can slip a Phenom II X4 into my budget by the time X-mas rolls around. Ya know, from the money that I tend to receive afterwards that more than makes up for any money lost shopping for people.

So as far as PSU's go, I know this must be a common question but how high a wattage should I go? Only asking cuz of you mavvens! I'm thinkin the lowest I should go is around 600W?

I had noticed the other day that the Corsair TX750 had an after rebate price of a hundred bucks, same price as the 650. Was looking for a link to that, and didn't see the 750 handy there, but
the TX850 is that price after rebate with free shipping. $100. for a TX850 is an awesome deal, and extra power is always a nice thing to have.
Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

So, naturally I checked newegg.ca, for us it'd be 170 bucks with no rebate. No wonder I mostly buy from ncix eh.
Great psu though, I really like mine.

^^^Yeah but NCIX comes through with a nice deal on the 750 for Canada this week.

NCIX.com - Buy Corsair TX750W 750W ATX 12V 60A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 140MM Fan - CMPSU-750TX In Canada.

Like grimx133 said, the TX850 PSU would be excellent for you. You could easily get by with a quality 600w (never looked at the 5850 specs, but that should be more than enough) PSU for your build in my opinion, but having more safety margin and room for improvement down the road isn't going to hurt. Especially if you get a great deal on a quality PSU.
