Default DDR3 question and recommendation

I am trying to assemble a PC for my daughter, I have all the parts except this DDR3 which I don't know what to get.
Motherboard is MSI 770-C45
cpu is Athlon X2 240 AM3
Not planning to overclock until later
What confuse me is the rating of DDR3 12600, 10600 etc...anyone recommend 2X2GB which are not expensive but will also work when I overclock the cpu.
Tia

You want an 8GB kit? Isn't that a little overkill? After all, if you're buying an Athlon II X2 240 you're surely not doing anything too intensive.

It's not really worth spending too much money on RAM for an AM3 system since you really can't do much memory overclocking. Also, thanks to memory dividers the memory will never be the component that holds back your CPU overclock.

Therefore, I recommend:

G.SKILL F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ

G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws (#1 Choice)

Patriot Sector 5 PGV34G1333ELK

PC3-10666 is DDR3-1333 or 1333Mhz (DDR), PC3-12800 is DDR3-1600 or 1600Mhz (DDR).

Go with the G.skill. The chance the bios **** up with this memory is way lower then with the OCZ. And seriously, can someone here show that that OCZ overstand G.skill for durability?

Ask for more.

There's this 1066 Crucial kit. No heatspreaders, but not like anything fancy is needed. Only problem is that it's on back-order.

NCIX.com - Buy Crucial CT2KIT25664BA1067 PC3-8500 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1066 CL7 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit - CT2KIT25664BA1067 In Canada.

How bout this one: Corsair XMS3 TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX G 2GB DDR3 2X1GB DDR3-1333 CL 9-9-9-27 Dual Channel Memory Ki

I know its a 2gb kit but it seems to be next to the Corsair Dominator series. How is it?
