This build looks fine, but that Azza Spartan 101 looks really like .

The PSU is great, but a tad overkill I guess. Why not go for 2x2gb of RAM ?

Coz 4 Gb of DDR3 is uber expensive. Me bro loves the case, but i hate it!!! I wish he would like the Antec 300 or NZXT Beta or CM Centurion 534.

Or even the Sonata III. The power supply it comes with would be plenty for that build.

But are there any decent and ~600W PSU capable of running a 5850 for under $90???

+1 to what the others said. Check out the other budget build threads. Lots of good comments there.

Oh, don't forget to price match and wait till tomorrow to purchase, as the new weekly special starts tomorrow.

A $500 build running an ATI 5850...What resolution? If you're purchasing tonight, then go for the TX750 since it's on special right now.

I plan on adding a 5850 down the road when they get cheaper. That will go to my sig and i'll give my 9600GT and the PSU to me bro. I game at 1680X1050 and 1920X1080

For the added $20 I'd opt for a full Quad Core, but again thats just me.

Infonec Computers - Computer parts Canada, PC Components, laptop computers, motherboards, processors, CPUs and much more : AMD PHENOM II X4 810 2.6GHz 95W AM3 6MB

Otherwise minus the case I like the build.

Regards,
ST

Does DDR3 ram speeds actually matter on AM3 platform??? Coz the G. SKill one is not available in Burnaby so i had to find another set.

how's this: Corsair XMS3 TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX G 2GB DDR3 2X1GB DDR3-1333 CL 9-9-9-27 Dual Channel Memory Kit
