Looks good to me. You've got quite a bit of power supply there for just one video card, not that it's a bad thing, but if you don't plan on adding another one... you could save money there..

Also, a soundcard would be something you would be very glad you purchased.. Check out the Auzentech Forte.

Are you American? I noticed you're using tigerdirect.com... also look into newegg.com, they likely have better prices on most of those items. With the money saved, you can look into a better video card... not that you'll need one for a 19" monitor.

Looks like a fine build to me. Only thing I might suggest is a tube of some quality thermal compound.

Yeah im planning on getting a gtx 300 series card when they come out eventually. And yes im american, newegg and tigerdirect both have very similar prices. What are some of the better sound cards besides the Auzentech Forte?
And thank you for your quick and helpful replies.

Drop the V8 cooler and get something cheaper better ;) refer to hardwarecanucks cooler chart to see witch one is the best.

I think the ATI HD 4890 is a better choice for a card- they are under $200 and can totally whoop a 260-
NCIX.com - Buy Powercolor Radeon HD 4890 1GB AX4890 1GBD5 850MHZ 1GB 3.9GHZ GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDTV Video Card - AX4890 1GBD5 In Canada.

I several benchmarks, it even outperforms a GTX 285

+1 I really like the look of the V8 but after seeing less than stellar reviews on it you would be best served buying something else.

Try to avoid tiger direct exept if there is a shop near you, they ship by UPS from the states. Long, costy and the box can be opened at canadian frontier. I have a costumer last week who lost 5 tube of compound because of this. They have keep it:) Then UPS leave a 2000 computer infront of the door and leave. He return everything and buy all part locally:P

Ok i will be changing my cpu cooler, but after reading the reviews im not sure which one to get that will be compatable with i7. And the OCZT VEND 2 is a deactivated item on newegg...
So if you have any suggestions for alternate cpu coolers that would be great.

Also im not sure if thats the Motherboard i want to get. I really like EVGA's boards but whats the difference between the X58 and P55 chipsets?
Is one better than the other?
Do you have any suggestions for good i7 motherboards?
Thanks.
