Default my i7 860 Build

Hey everyone, wanted to post up my new build. Only thing I'm stumped on is whether or not my power supply will be enough to run dual graphics cards (I got the 9800 gt for PhysX purposes only, waiting until new graphics cards come out on Sept 23rd to get a good main card).

what do you guys think? will my power supply be enough to run everything below plus a
(hypothetical) extra GTX 285?

That will be one sweet looking rig once it's finished! :)

Priced separately and pricematched at NCIX.com you'll get your products a lot cheaper! Use HWC's Price comparison engine to find the cheapest prices possible:

The bundle at NCIX $ 878.85 - Pricedmatched Separately $ 811.29
CPU $ 327.99
RAM $ 235.10
Mobo $ 248.20

PSU TX750 $ 103.79 after MIR
HDD 640Ggb $ 73.54
GPU 9800GT $ 109.99 after MIR
Case $ 110.63

See? Saving a lot of money here! :) You PSU will for sure be strong enough to handle the extra load of the GTX 285, no worries.

^^ i got the bundle for $799.99 when it was on promotion lol

i'm trying to stay away from MIR's cause I've heard too many horror stories and to be honest for saving $20 it's not worth the headaches.

PSU $114.99
HDD
$69.99
GPU
$119.99
CASE $103.99

Thanks for the input on the PSU :) can't wait to put it together.

For that nice build you should be looking at a GTX 260 216 55nm minimum....preferably a GTX 275.
If $$$ is a real concern consider the GTS 250's (previously 9800GTX+)....

Sorry..understand why you chose that Card! (didn't read the 1st line of your Post "carefully"....

Aye, your video card is far too weak. Spend an extra $50 and get double the performance
