Smile Help Prof. Dr. Silver get divorced!

Yeah, so I told the wife it was time for new technology, thus I need a new rig!

Here's my choice of components:

Core i7 860 $ 327.99
G.Skill Ripjaws 4Gb PC3-16000 DDR3-2000MHz $ 96.97

But that needs to go into something and that's where it becomes difficult. Here are my choices:

MSI P55 GD80 $ 229.99
Gigabyte P55 UD5 $ 231.66
ASUS P55 Deluxe $ 246.40
EVGA P55 FTW $ 248.20

PSU:
Heatsink:

What would you choose?

eVGA wins in the sexyiness category. Might help you get divorced too if youre attracted to hardware for its "looks".

I'd stick to a board with triple x16 PCI-e slots for folding... and I'm a sucker for Gigabyte.

Their RMA is meh at best. Id chose eVGA next time around, over Giga, 'just in case'

As always YMMV however.

Ofcourse, that rules out Asus, which is something I'm happy with right now since they're giving me a hard time about my 680i replacement.... :)

That leaves three: MSI being new to me, Gigabyte being 'okay' to me and EVGA being expensive to me :)
