List em....
PC P&C Silencer 910/Turbocool, Corsair HX750/850, Seasonic M12D, Enermax Revolution, Antec Signature/CP850/TruePower New. And there are also plenty of others which are as good as the PC P&C 750.

rjbarker, I'm pretty sure the 80 Plus Silver certification of the HX750W really explains a lot. It requires very good quality products to meet those efficiencies. The PC P&C doesn't even have Bronze category, just 80 Plus. Their ripple are about the same. Feel free to back yourself up, but I think theAnimal has you beat here. The PC P&C has been out for ages now, and it's finally time to move on.

Ok, so I'm thinking perhaps the Corsair HX70 will be a nice buy...modular and great performance.

I think I'm gonna go with the HAF 932 for case.

Now for the video card, right now I've got the BFG GTX 275 OC...saw it on CanadaComputers for $214.99....this one seems to be the best value for the 275 series even at $250. EVGA's GTX 275 SC is comparibly priced...what do I get?

For the CPU cooler, I don't know if I'll get one right away...but I probably will at some point...I've read around and 3 seem to be popping up over and over...the Cooler Master V8 (just looks so damn cool), Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme, Thermalright TRUE BLACK (doesn't come with fan though), and Xigmatek Dark Knight....what are your recommendations here?

Prolimatech Megahalem!

As for the GTX275, go with whatever floats your boat. Both have great lifetime warranties, except one doesn't allow modding the card (BFG).

What about the Scythe Mugen 2? Based on Prolimatech Megahalems and 12 Other Coolers for Intel Core i7 Overclocking - X-bit labs, it performs as well as the Megahalem at almost half the cost.

Or the COGAGE True Spirit which is also a nicer price.

I think those results are faulty or the testing methodologies are bad. Usually the Megalehems beats everything else by at least 2C.

It's possible. The forum I found it on seemed to think the same thing.

Most of the other reviews I"ve read have found it to be excellent but I'm not going to be doing any major OC so I don't think I need to splurge so much on the best of the best.

I'd just stick with a Vendetta 2, S1283, or hyper H520.

I'm not concerned about whom is "beating" who..animal stated that their was a "host" of PSU better than the PC P&C 750W...he listed a few 850 even 900W....I was strictly talking about 750W....I was not aware that the Corsair was "Silver Certified".....my mistake, however I still see only one 750W (Corsair) listed by Animal as "better" then the PC P&C 750W......obviouisly thier are not a "host" of 750W better...perhaps one?

Oh, so now it has to be 750? The Seasonic M12D has a 750W model as does the Antec Truepower New.

The fact that it is Silver certified does not make it better.
