My System Specs

Default I think this is good

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.

Gaming (Mostly) Video editing web browsing school work

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread

Don't really have one i guess under $1800

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

Canada
(NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Great Technology, Service and Selection.) or were-ever

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.

None

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

Dont have a previous computer

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.

yea but i still want some input

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

No

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?

When ever i get the money (a couple of month's?)

That Zalman cooler could be better replaced by an OCZ Vendetta 2 or Coolermaster Hyper 212+ for like.. half the price.
If you are looking to save money, the HAF is a good case (supposedly, don't own 1) but there are more affordable out there for sure.
Gaming boards and mice are pricy, I personally don't see much of a gain in my performance for the cost.
That PSU is a bit heavy for all that, unless you plan to go crossfire later. On the other hand a 550W or something would be under more stress during load and have a shorter lifetime (potentially) soo, that's your call.

Oh, lastly, the XFX 4890 is only 215.99 at newegg.ca so that's a bit better.

EDIT: IF you don't intend to overclock, save some money and don't get the 955. And if you're not overclocking, you probably won't need an aftermarket cooler either.

Could I suggest an i7 build instead?
Intel Core i7 920 Quad Core Processor LGA1366 2.66GHZ Bloomfield 8MB LGA1366 4.8GT/S

Gigabyte EX58-UD3R ATX LGA1366 X58 DDR3 2PCI-E 2PCI SATA2 RAID Sound GLAN CrossFireX Motherboard

Patriot Extreme Performance Viper 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-1333 CL7-7-7-20 Triple Channel Memory Kit

PM to nxix and your set more or less

Edit, also forget buying Vista, get Win7 when it comes out and that PSU for $100 is not worth it, I'd go with
Corsair TX750W 750W ATX 12V 60A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 140MM Fan
if you really want the juice or go get this
Corsair VX550W 550W ATX 12V 41A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan
since your not oc'n and also, forget about the aftermarket cooler if your not overclocking

if you don't have the money now, just wait for the next gen stuff coz they are just around the corner.
