Looks like a pretty solid build to me. I would make a few minor changes but probably nothing worth mentioning. The main parts (motherboard, ram, cpu, cooling, and video card) are good choices.

I added a haf to my build too, its the cheapest decent E-ATX case I could fit into the 2000 budget to fit the classified, not sure why you would need it for the SLI LE though.

O.K with a "mid-sized" 922?

I'm aware of the love/hate for HAF cases, but seems like the best of all worlds: cooling, features, price and (for some of us anyways) looks. I like the Antecs and Thermaltakes too. NCIX only has 4 Lian Li cases and only one in budget is pretty ordinary-looking. I'm not spending $700 on a case, this build with a serious sound card and monitor would already be worth more than my car.

2001 chevy cavalier... I think if you add up EVERYTHING I have attached to my computer it might just squeek past my cars value =P Haf is just an over played case, even if I won the contest and got the case, within months it would be changed up to a silverstone.

I'm not a huge fan of Scythe controllers and I have always questioned the use of spending more money for a certain stepping but other than that it looks good.

I've gone through 2 scythe kaze masters (one ace). The first one had broken knobs, and died soon after that. The Kaze master Ace I'm using right now is decent, and only cost me about 30$.

It's not bad

Well these is nothing to say part are solid the only thing I would change ( for myself ) is the board, I think paying 500$ for that part is to much andI dislike the layout, but that's only personal choice. The rest of the part is only choice like the keyboard. So everything seem's good to me and if you win you will have a pretty great computer ;)
