After I posted, I went looking for your thread and read it. Thanks

Does a Socket 939 user separate the cross mount in order to mount the heatsink?
In the 212 Plus heatsink's info, I don't see any additional hardware for the old 2 post mount.

I am sorry, I just realised that I am off topic of your new system build.

That's ok. It's related since I've installed it on my new board.

That's strange.... they do list S939, but don't provide any installation instructions. It's been a while since I had a S939 board, is it possible that they have the same 4 holes in the motherboard as AM2 even if they only use 2 screws for mounting the stock plastic mount?

939 holes are 2 and they would be in between the am2 mounting holes. Where the center clips is on the mounting plate if that makes any sence Steve.

I still want to see some number's ...........

Hrmmmmmmm.........

Currently completing a full XP install on this rig with all 4 cores running 3660 & NB speed 2700+. No problems at all, but I haven't installed the bloody Nvidia drivers yet... I'm hoping that a fresh install with 4 cores might "protect" whatever memory space the drivers are using, but before I install the drivers I want to get some 4 core cpu benchmarking done in case the drivers still fubar the 4'th core.
