Default i7 920 Build

So, it's finally happened. I have saved up enough of my pennies to buy myself a gaming computer!

All parts have been ordered and are either sitting beside me, or shipping. I'm just here looking for opinions on the overall setup, and how everyone thinks I did for a first time build.

Case - Antec 1200 (Bought from Sinticfury for a steal!)
CPU - i7 920 (Bought from Anabioz for a steal!)
RAM - 12GB of Patriot Viper Series RAM. DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24. (Also bought from Anabioz for a steal!)
Video Card - Sapphire 4870 X2 (Bought from Kyle_L for a steal!)
Motherboard - Bought from Newegg.ca Newegg.ca - DFI LP UT X58-T3eH8 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
Power Supply - PC P&C 750w Quad
HD - WD 640GB Black
Heatsink - Newegg.ca - Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 120mm SSO CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
DVD Burner - Spare one kicking around the house.

Total cost after shipping and everything - $1600 on the dot. Now. What do you all think of the setup? And this being my first good gaming computer, I'll need game recommendations to. But of course that's

Very nice...you'll have tons of fun with it....personally I'd start out with 6Gb RAM if you're planning on OC'ing that CPU...then move to 12GB after getting stable.....nice work!

Heh ya, the only reason there is 12GB of RAM is because I bought it at $10 a GB. Was a pretty awesome deal.

EDIT - Definitely overclocking
But does adding RAM put more stress on the memory controller of the i7? I'm not to sure on how this works, but would it be possible for adding more RAM (going from 6-12) to cause a stable OC to become, less stable?

Yep.......but go for it...I'm not saying you won't be able to OC with 12GB, just maybe a little more time consuming with more tweaking is all...

Thank you. One thing I'm a little disappointed about it is it's red. The black one was $40 more. But at $100 after taxes for that PSU, I think I can live with it.

Is there high demand for a worklog? I was thinking of putting it all together in one sitting... O.O
Would probably forget to take pictures. =D
