Cryostasis is such a terrible game anyways why would you want to build around it?

not just fps but overall performance.

o.O? overall performance?
I dont understand the question? FPS is the overall performance of a game, there is nothing else but FPS, if you mean overall performance outside of gaming then the i7 still wins, 16gb of ram isnt going to do jack unless your loading HUGE files. My E8400 with a GTX 260 can handle cryostasis at max settings on my 20" monitor but I can honestly say its one of the only games I never finished, not because it was hard, but because it was litterally one of the worst put together games I have played to date. Graphics are decent, game play is garbage, story line is bunk.
As for your poll, i chose the i7, its going to be much faster in game and outside of game except when it comes to zone loading, the GTX 260 STOMPS the 2900xt.
