Just out of curiosity, is it possible to have 3 x GTX 295s?

And which if these setups is faster?

OR (3xGTX285 + 9800GT)

the 285s and 9800GT is pretty well an sli setup with a 9800gt for physx, or folding. The GTX 295 would be faster but costs quite a bit more in the long run.

No it is not possible to run tri GTX 295s as far as I know.

heres some benchmarks with dual GTX 295s and GTX 280s in tri. Take them with a grain of salt as always but you can see the GTX 280s do pretty well against the Quad sli setup and the GTX 285s would probubly do alot better.

Thanks alot for all your help.

I'm gonna try to get that bundle deal tomorrow but I was wondering what NCIX's return policy is for DOA stuff. Im not going to buy everything until 3/4 of june and i need a few more paychecks but that deals ends on tuesday. Say if something was damaged that i couldn't see like a pin breaking or something. How long do i have to return it? Plus id rather not open anything till i have all of it together.

and things that say not availible is that just temporary until they have stock?

my advise, since your spending that much, get the express RMA insurance option, that way you have 30 days from the day your new stuff arives at your door to have cross shipped DOA warranty. If you get a part in the order thats DOA, you call them up or talk to their techsupport and tell them what happened, you pay the shipping to them as always, but they rush ship your item to you and cross ship it as long as its in stock.

NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Great Technology, Service and Selection.

its a pretty good deal, especially when dealing with motherboards and what not.

If you cant test within the 30days though, no Etailer will take items back after that long, normally if its DOA you deal with the manufacturer on it.

Normal RMA for DOAs is 30 days but you pay shipping and it takes a while.

Then normaly would work I guess, personally I like things fast, I hate waiting =P especially when my computer is either on hold because of it or down.

You could take a look at the auzentek sound cards, the prelude is x-fi based but has great driver support and sound =) Or if its in stock the xtremegamer is a pretty decent card as well, I have on on its way to me presently.

for fans, you could price match these...

Antec TriCool 120MM Red LED Case Fan 3/4 Pin W/ 3 Speed Switch - DirectCanada

NCIX has them in stock and will price match to Directcanadas price. I know there was mentioned another site that sells the yateloon red LED fans that are supose to be amazing but you have to email them for a quote to ship to canada and they seem like a real hassle.

Im pretty sure this is a decent pump as well... you can price match it at NCIX as well. Its a little more but im pretty sure youll gain more cooling performance with it over that danger den. Any other HWC member correct me if im wrong here.

Swiftech MCP655-B 12V Industrial Water Cooling Pump *Without Speed Adjustment* 1/2" Barbs - DirectCanada

Now theres also this...

Swiftech MCR320 Quiet Power Triple 120MM Water Cooling Radiator Black G1/4 Threaded - DirectCanada

320 tripple rad, again not sure if its much better or worse then the one you have but im pretty sure its comparable and normally in stock.

NCIX has it but youll need to buy barbs for it.

NCIX.com - Buy Swiftech MCR320 Quiet Power Triple 120MM Water Cooling Radiator Black G1/4 Threaded - MCR320-QP-K In Canada.

Here is a good soundcard thats comparable to the x-fi as far as I know, Ive heard a ton of great things about auzentek. The Forte inclues both low profile and standard brackets as well so you dont have to worry about size.

NCIX.com - Buy AuzenTech Forte Low Profile PCI-E 7.1 Sound Card PCI-E Dolby Digital Live Headphone AMP - AZT-FORTE In Canada.

Its also PCI-E which is nice.

NCIX.com - Buy Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer 24BIT Sound Card 7.1 PCI Retail Box Bilingual - 70SB073A00003 In Canada.

Not quite the fatality but still a great card with a full on x-fi chip unlike some of the other lower end x-fis that are software only. It has good vista support and is deffinetly worlds better then onboard.

Hope that helps =)

I was on the ncix website, and i was seeing how much shipping is. I went to the insurance part and it says express RMA insurance is $34.52 - #% of subtotal. The subtotal is $1,150.53 and 3% of that is $34.52 Does this mean insurance is free?

I'm pretty sure they mean - as in a dash, rather than as a subtraction sign. They're just telling you how they arrived at the price for insurance.
