I checked out the board you suggested Rapmaster and i did view that one before when trying to decide it is $129.00 after rebate. The reason i went P5Q as i said before was even though crossfire board it was $125 and free shipping included for my order so apple to apple orange to orange comparison or should i say mobo to mobo :) i thought P5Q was an on par to the one you mentioned Gigabyte EP45-UD3R but i'd save on shipping.

I think either the Gigabyte or the Asus board are very good offerings to be honest.
Which everyone suits you best would do just fine.

Thanks Matsta for psu info . In regards to AMD nice suggestion but i think i'm leaning more to staying Intel.
In regards to not moving on my P4 for awhile this is correct i'll probably will hang out with this new build for a little while also LOL.

Some extra Fans i'll add to my grocery list for PC build pie. Just regular low end fans or is there a big difference. I would imagine ones that are quiet and stable. Shouldn't be that much of a biggie.

New build in the WORKS:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
ASUS P5Q Pro ATX LGA775 P45
EVGA E-GEFORCE GTX 260 Core 216 SC 55NM 626MHZ 896MB 2.1GHZ
Coolermaster CM 590 Case
G.SKILL F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK PC2-8500 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1066
Corsair VX550W Power Supply
Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB 7200RPM 32MB Dual Proc

I adjusted the prices and price matched by dropping the psu for the Cosair 550w and the case to a CM590 i'm now in @ a price of $895 for the above. that is rebates included.

That sir, looks very solid for the Budget, I'd stick with it and make it happen.
