Hmm I guess I might get the 750w after all then. I'm not going to be doing any extensive overclocking so it should do just fine for this build. Thanks for the example as well.

with a single video card and even max overclocked that PC will never draw more then 550w, but having the 750w might be good for the long haul, less power being drawn means it runs cooler, but the 850w would probubly do for a tri SLI build (GTS 250s atleast). Im kind of envious of your build though, your really gonna love it, and once you get it settled in you should mess around with overclocking, nothing beats free performance boosts.

EDIT: take the money you saved and drop it on a cooler for that CPU, like the TRUE black...

Ok now all I need is the case. When reading up on the storm scout I found a case called the storm sniper which is supposedly much better than the scout but it's also more expensive. I'm not even considering the haf anymore because apparently some of the fans don't have dust filters. Right now I'm pretty much debating between an antec 900 or a cooler master storm sniper.

Also I personally would drop the 850w PSU for a 750w or even 650w if you dont plan to go with a 2nd video card down the road, 850w is pretty overkill here.

Don't fart around here in this Dept....if you're at all entertaining SLi and an additional 275 Card stick to your original 850W PSU....
Yes...750W may be enough....but why scrimp now...pay a little more and you've got the additional headroom.

Looks good to me man =) should have a TON of fun with that build, if you want to go SLI in the future I believe you can do it on that board but it requires a bios flash that im not sure but might void your warranty. Not sure if the newer bios's offered for those motherboards added SLI functionality or not, I heard alot of the companies where starting to offer such bios's.

I'll look into the SLI once the 275 stops being able to handle new releases and thanks a lot for suggesting the storm scout I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise seems like a really good case for the price.
