Everything I chose here is 100% compatible so no screwy bios functions here. I'm pretty happy with the current build I have no I'm wondering if I just buy the HAF case but I think ill be fine with a cm690 and a Noctua UP12

Not true...some Boards can handle both 1866 Mhz and 2000 Mhz Memory.

I'm talking about instability of the i7 core not the motherboard. I don't know form personal experiences but people have had issues from ram higher than 1666mhz.
