G.SKill ram is WAY better then that Corsair, its got tighter timings and overclocks better, if your not worried about that then get the corsair and save the money, but the G.Skill is a decent amount faster.

Still a horrible build for $1000. Check out the build I linked to in the first post.

Hmm alright will go with that build you linked to if you think its better, however it doesn't have a dvd writer, cpu cooler or lcd monitor. Also the psu is only 550 watts, is that all I need? Would the GTS 250 be able to play the newest games on medium to high settings? Again thank you very much for the crucial info.

GTS 250 on a 19" monitor will play all the newest games at high settings I would say, except crysis youd have to drop it down to medium for that, Ive run the GTS 250 equivilents for quite a while and they perform very well. 550w PSU should be pleanty I think.

Ya youd probubly be fine with that, depending on the CPU your going with I cant remember if he eventually went with an E8400 or an AMD x3 720, the arctic cooling heatsinks come in AM2 and LGA775 variances, the one you linked is Intel only.

You can get the OCZ Vendetta 2 or the Xigmatek HDT-S1283.

550 watts will be more than enough to run any of today's rigs, unless you going to SLI two GTX260 or the ATI equivalent.

or 2 GTS 250s, they require around a 650w minimum with some decent amps on the 12v rails. I think a single GTS 250 in this rig with a 550w PSU would be perfect though.

Drop the dvd writer for a sata version, you could also drop the ram for the DDR2 8000 version if you want to save a bit of money, you wont use the DDR2 8500s fully anyhow. Other then that looks good man should be a very potent build. Only thing better would be an E8400 but its also another $60 or so, but having run an E7400 I can honestly say you wont notice much difference between the 2.
