Looks like some nice parts... If you are looking for a cool factor get a CoolIt Domino instead of the OCZ Vendetta 2. Also, what case are you putting the beast into? I vote for SilverStone Fortress FT01 Mid-Tower Case Review. Window a must have!

Looks good to me. So you're using it for mainstream and gaming purposes right?

Change that Mushkin RAM to Patriot, G.Skill, Corsair, etc. 4GB RAM.

Answer the sticky and provide the prices of your parts please. It'll help :)

Seriously, that's a nicely balanced rig you've got there! Nothing strikes me as out-of-place.

At this point, I might consider looking at my sound. Maybe a sound card or some high-grade headphones/sound system? That can seriously do wonders for your gaming and music listening, and make you seriously wonder what you were hearing beforehand.

Another option might be a second GPU and cooler, which would come in under the $300 budget. You've got enough processor power there to keep things running nicely, and that power supply shouldn't have any trouble either.

Ya I would be looking into sound card or headphones but what about your monitor.
You dont have specs on what monitor you have maybe upgrading size and quality.
Sell the old one if its still decent and upgrade.
If you have money left over cooling stuff or sound.

I'm not sure about that sound card....Integrated audio has come a long way and it can actually rival the performance of some sound cards. What speakers are you using it with? If you're using high-end speakers, then no doubts on that sound card.

@Martin. Where you buying from? NCIX?

My suggestion regarding the monitor would be if possible to try and sell and to a friend then upgrade your monitor.
Monitors have gotten really cheap and I'm not sure if you would get an amount for that monitor that you would feel comfortable with here.
You can always try and see what happens.
Try posting it here - RFD - Kijiji see what happens - and if your in a room where speakers are a good option go for it. And follow the advice about onboard sound for now.

Ya my first few builds for people and my self nothing was thought about outside the box. - Yes i made a funny.

Goood Luck
