Both card makers have great reputations, it comes down to what you value. Go to EVGA's website and then XFXs and poke around, check the forums and see what kind of support there is, do people answer etc. Read a couple of reviews on some of the sites and see what they say... there are some reviews here on HWC but not the exact cards you are looking at.

The thing that bothers me is that i cant find the gtx 260 core 216 on xfx's site anywhere. Its not even listed under 200 series which is a little concerning.

True, perhaps they are discontinuing them? Not a big deal as they will support what is sold though.

Yeah maybe so, i just wanted to read about it on there site and see if it was the 65 nm or 55 nm version.
