With the way computer changes so often there is no "long term" viable solution.

If all you do is play games there really isn't much point in buying a quad and save your money and get a 8400 as suggested then put more towards something else.

If you actually HAVE a use for a quad then sure.

If you want to stick with this build for a while just drop the hammer on a new Q9550, they arent supose to drop in price much for the non oem market till june/july. Atleast thats what ive been hearing, the price cuts listed are supose to hit the OEM channels at that date then onto retail channels months after that.
