Default Tell us about your Newegg.ca experiences!

Humm,
I always purchased my computer parts from NCIX.com. Never had an issue with them. They Pricematch 99% of the time and I RMA'd stuff to them no issues.

Now, (I don't know where I was), but Newegg.ca is out there.
They keep stocks on lots of parts NCIX doesn't. The prices are good most of the time.

BUT, how are they? Any good or just average?

Please share your newegg.ca experiences (shipping, RMA, prices, do they PM???)
Do they have a warehouse in Canada or they ship everything from the States (custom issues???)

I ordered an oddball motherboard from them, (MSI P4 PCIE DDR2) it took a week to get here from the east coast, it was 15 bux for shipping and they didn't ding me at the border...
All in all it was a good experience as I couldn't get that mobo on Canada.

Humm,
I' live in Qc, so it might be faster to get my stuff from them than from BC???

They are selling some weird stuff, like the TLB-plagued Phenoms (seems they have lots of those) and some really low-grade components, but also high quality.

I buy almost everything from Newegg lately. The orders always get processed faster than NCIX. However it takes a week+ to get here.

Shipping from BC would be almost identical or fast if you use express shipping. No border holdups and chances are it would be cheaper as well.
Also - 5% GST anyone :P

Except for those in Ontario soon :(

Depends on how your paying at NCIX. I have had parcels shipped off in less than 3 hours, from hitting the submit button to getting the tracking number when paying via credit card. They have this new quick ship thing that gets instock products off faster than anyone I have ever used. If your ordered out of stock stuff, backordered or a good mess of parts be prepared to wait with any company though

The only problem I have is that they use UPS. Ordered a case panel that came bent with footprints on the box. I've bought from them 3 times now. They do have darn near everything in stock, except watercooling stuff.

I always pay by CC. In the past 2 years, and the good 50+ orders i've made. I bet I've seen 1 maybe 2 orders that shipped out the same day (ordered one thing each time). And those were both in the past 2 months. Most of my orders take at least 2 days to get shipped.
