Thanks shift. Well I chickened out. I'm paying $50 for NCIX to build for me. So I bought the parts exactly as listed above with one exception, i've omitted the tv tuner card for now. I'll wait on that one.

I have another question. Once I get my system i want to install an internal hard drive that is in my current pc now. Its got all my music, movies and pictures and other stuff. Do you have any suggestion or recommendations about that? I now that I'll have to make it a slave drive, right?

Anyway these next few days will be stressful. Can't wait to get it and power it up.

The master/slave switch is only important when you have two ide drives plugged into the same ribbon cable. The drive you bought isn't the same type so you'll just have to plug the old drive in. (as long as it's data only, if there's an operating system on there things get a little more messy)

The build looks awesome Min, im sure your going to be very happy with it. And Jp has it exactly right, you shouldnt have any problems using that drive for data.

Theres a decent step by step tutorial on putting together a newer system, its intel based but the same steps apply to AMD and should give you a good reference while building that rig of yours.
