I don't know why you guys can't just let me be happy.

All reviews I've read for the hd4670 look good for a cheap card.
Here's one from right here at Hardware Canucks...
ATI HD 4670 512MB GDDR3 Video Card Review

It's what I chose and it's what I'll use for now. I don't plan on doing much gaming right now, and when I upgrade the card I'm not going to bother trying to crossfire with another cheap card... I'll just buy a good card.

Thank you for your suggestions, but I didn't want to spend more than what I spent on a card right now. From what I've read I got the best for my money...

I think the 4670 is a good choice for the applications you're going to be using it for. It's not like Paint Shop or Photoshop needs a killer video card. All they need is a good multi-core CPU, and a fair bit of RAM. You've got both, so you're good to go.

I think most people just don't like the idea of having their GPU as their system's bottle neck, but for what you're doing, you have good reasons to be happy about your set-up.

o.O what is this windowed mode you speak of? Medium whats that? you must not be a gamer =P Windowed mode alot of the time will run worse on a bad system then it will in fullscreen low res... besides the OP posted more then 1 thread asking our oppinions on this matter and we are giving them. An i7 and a 4670 is a failed combination anyway you look at it, the little bit extra for a 4830 would have atleast added a good boost in performance... but as long as hes happy with it in the long run.

Look, all I'm saying is he obviously prioritizes money over a strong video card right now. He's willing to make concessions in gaming as long as he gets a machine that performs well at design & graphics within a certain budget. He's also going to upgrade later, and he knows exactly what he'll be missing out on right now. Most importantly, he already placed his order and he doesn't seem like he'll want to waste time doing exchanges either, so why make him feel like shit over his new purchase?

Agreed...

Congrats on the new setup.

BTW, I don't feel like photoshop is very GPU intensive... I can photoshop while I fold, sometimes I have to pause it because I get lag, but I can still do it, so that says something... a 4670 will photoshop just fine
