Intel drives do not have stuttering issues.

10K RPM drives are a waste of money in my opinion.

I said EXCEPT intel drives. 10k drives are a touchy subject but imo they are worth it fir the 5 secs taken off opening things and even more when booting

Also, if you want to go extreme.

But, If you really wanted to go extreme, you'd go SSD.

If you wanted to balance, you could throw out the 2nd gtx 295, not going to gain you much at all. Get 2 x-25 ssd's in Raid 0.

BUT I WANNA PLAY CRYSIS!!!!!!!!!:rofl::haha::haha:

Realityshift March 12, 2009 12:43 PM

1 GTX295 will play crysis just fine at the rez, and I agree about the 10k drives, their far to loud and not much faster then the blacks and are just stupid priced. If your moving a ton of LARGE data at once then ya maybe itll make a difference, but 5 seconds off load times? are you nuts? If your load times are 5 secs to begin with on a 7.2k hard drive you have other problems, ive never had to wait more then half a second to maybe a second to load anything on my 640 black. and likes its been mentioned extreme is SSDs, Extreme branded CPUs, Watercooling or above, and some 2ghz ram. what you have here is just a run of the mill I7 build =P Extreme air cooling = Coolermaster V10!. And you do realize that the OCZ flex moduals are for watercooling systems right?

Probably a 2.5'' to 3.5'' adapter or a 2.5 hotswap bay that fits into a 3.5'' or 5.25'' space.

1. Your reported for spamming and making fun for no reason. I just joined here you could be a little nicer.

2. Extreme CPUs are a waste of money and are just higher binned lower cpus. I think 2x GTX 295 is pretty extreme so thats what I meant.

3. so with your WD black u can open office in 1 second eh?

4. 10000 rpm drives make booting faster and openthining things faster, they are not any louder then a normal drive, although I might reconsider getting an ssd
