With a good set up im sure youll get 4.0 on air man, trues with push pull put out alot of cool and these cpus have a pretty high temp threshold from what ive been reading they just plain run hot.

Sanjo....go w/ a OCZ Vendetta 2, drop a decent fan on it and you will save money, prolly get better numbers (and lower noise levels) than going w/ the Domino. Its not designed for major OCs. Its a VERY good entry level WC all in one kit...but what you are doing is NOT entry level. I would strongly recomend either saving a few bucks and going air...or save it somewhere else and spend a couple more for a better all in one kit (or better yet a decent DIY WC loop).

My System Specs

Default

I7 920 - 3.8 Ghz - P95 Stable - vCore 1.2375 "without vDroop" 1.28v under load - TRUE Push - Max Temps 67C
I7 920 - 4.02 Ghz - P95 Stable - vCore 1..35 "without vDroop" 1.39v under load - TRUE Push - Max Temps 81C

For 24/7 4 Ghz I'd have to get another 120mm and go "Push / Pull"...but the difference from 3.8 to 4 is not noticeable enough to bother.

That was running at those Temps 77 / 81 / 76 / 80 for 4 hrs of Prime.....Case Temps were low, NB Temp was around 61C (still not bad)...Silverstone TJ09 moves a lot of air...
Temps are a result in jump in vCore to get stable, Temps at 3.8 are about 10 - 12C cooler.

Quote:
i7 920 OC @ 4Ghtz
2x XFX GTX 285 in SLI
CooliT Freezone Elite w/ Retention Bracket for 1366
WD Velociraptor 300GB
WD Cavier Black 640GB
22x SATA Lite-On DVD Burner
CM HAF 932 Case
Corsair 850w PSU
6GB OCZ FLEX 1600MHZ 7-7-7-24 Kit
EVGA x58 Motherboard
Nice Rig thier Banjo, however, definitely change up that PSU and go straight to a Corsair HX 1kW for that set-up!!
Stick to a TRUE Push / Pull config...its proven.
Bear in mind, 4Ghz is not guarenteed.....
Having had a Raptor drive and change it out for a 640 Black in a heartbeat...noisy as hell and no noticeable gains...the only difference I see is how "quiet" the 640 Black is!

Sorry, enlightem me?
The only thing now I'm thinking of doing is ditching this 74 GB Raptor and getting another 640 Black or 500 Black....I hate this Raptor more n more each day..I'll sell it cheap if I decide to change out....means compete re-install ;( I hate that when everything is running nicely!

+1

Thats some good advise right there, with what you have listed already and what RJ just pointed out you would have one hell of a good computer that should last you quite a while. I thought when I bought my E7400 that 4ghz was garenteed because I saw so many people hitting over 4ghz in reviews, in reality 3.8ghz was the limit I could get within decent voltages =( so dont plan for 4ghz and then be pissed when you dont get it, plan for a 3.6-3.8 for 24/7 and be very happy if you get more =)
