You have to read and learn how to oc... this guide may not be your board, but it's relatively well explained.

It's a pdf too. GIGABYTE shows how to overclock i7 920 CPU to 4GHz :: TweakTown

The best way to OC with the i7, is borrow someones settings at 3.8GHz, plug them in and try it.. there is so much stuff to turn off and on, it's a confusing way to learn how to OC

Good luck! I got 3.8GHz outta mine with good voltage and temps.. 4.0GHz is possible too but I'd just rather run at 3.8 with better temps and volts. i7 overclock very well.

If you have no clue how to overclock (I'm assuming with ANY CPU), I would learn how to overclock an LGA775 CPU as it's probably the easiest one to do so with. i7 is a horrid platform to overclock on, it can get kinda confusing at first and takes a bit to adjust. Do what JakeHT said and borrow someone else's settings if you can't hack it and want to cut to the chase. Shouldn't this thread be in the Overclocking, Tweaking, and Benchmarking board?

EVGA posted a great OC guide at EVGA.com

+1 on the Corsair Memory, I've never had issues with them. Rock stable for me.

+2 on the Ultra X3 1000w (although this is probably overkill for that system).

Good review of that unit is here :

JonnyGURU.com - Power Supply Reviews and more! - Reviews - Ultra Products X3 1000W

Overall system looks good, as for the OC part of it, I would suggest making a new thread in there with full system specs and asking the Guru's of the OC world to take a peek.

Good Luck,
ST

Are you the OP with a new name?

Have you read through some of the links posted on overclocking the i7? Read around, find some settings, give them a shot. That's what I did and it worked very well for me.

EDIT: I'm under the impression that you already have this system..
