The power supply will be a bit overkill for the system, especially since you can't make a SLI setup on a P45-based motherboard (and I have found somewhere that your graphic card consumes 160 W at load) so you would be fine with a quality 500-600 power supply. Must say, the PSU you are looking at has a nice rebate.

HDD... depending on what you want to store on this PC, you might think going a bit bigger, won't cost a lot more. And I don't know about the performance of this drive.

Also, you might want to look at a "weaker" graphic card (GTX260, HD4870) if you want to save some money. Those are still quite powerful, and since you'll be on a 1680x1050 monitor, I guess it won't make such a big difference (i.e. in both case it will be good).

There's some component like the memory or the monitor that I don't know enough to say something about.

Couple of questions,

It appears the GTX 280 falls behind the 4850X2, but would the additional power from the supply make up for the price difference?

What power supply for two 4850X2s?

And finally, P5Q Pro, good board for Xfire or not?

4850X2 is not worth it IMHO. GTX260 should be more than fine for your monitor.

The 19" will be for travel, at home I will be using a 32" RGA, 1366 x 768. Will this make a difference?
