Default Economical Rig for F@H, and Light Gaming.

I want to build a rig F@H, some light gaming COD4, TF2, GRAW2 and surfing the net. This is what I had in mind. Let me know what you think.

Prices are from Direct Canada

Antech Three Hundred - $57.84
2GB Crucial Rendition PC2-5300 - $24.82
Samsung 22x8.16 DVD-RW - $24.99
Corsair 400CX 400W - $53.05
Intel Celeron E1400 Dual Core - $69.01
Gigabyte GA-EG31M-S2 - $68.69
Xigmatek HDT-RS-1283 w Crossbow Mounting - $50.76
Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB SATA2 - $49.52
XFX GeForce 8800GS 580MHZ 384MB - $92.35

Total: $491.03

According to the manual this board does have some overclocking features. You can set the FSB, multi, memory multi and vcore and vdim.

My OC goal would be to go from 2.0GHz to 3.0-3.3GHz

Interesting; good value for under $500.

The board does have oc features, I've used it before.

Hey bud. For just over $500 that looks pretty good. I might spend a bit more on the memory though.

I could pick up the Mushkin 996603 HP PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 - $53.88 @ Direct Canada.

It would be additional $30.00

So that would bring the price of to $552.16

I think the video card went up in price. Plus it seems like they never have it stock.
