Steve he is on direct canada, no PM on DC only NCIX.

I had a question for you kav, why are you going for a Quad core really. Not saying they are bad, just wanted to know exactly why. You could save up by going to an E8400 which would make that build cost even lower.

Try Pricematching as sswilson said, and ncix, they have deals right now that offer free ground shipping on entire order, and also you could price match so with free shipping your order will definitely be cheaper than Direct Canada really, plus you have more paying options, depending on bank account you could set up your bank account for ncix, so you're just paying money by online banking and no fees are charged and that is if you don't feel like using a CC.

Again, thanks for the info.

I'm going to email ncix now. Since Direct Canada has no shipping now I'm wondering if NCIX can do better or if they will just match.. I'm email now.

As for Q6600. The more I read, the more I like this chip, but I understand what you are saying about the E8400.

Thanks!

No need to e-mail them. Build up the same parts in your NCIX cart, then use the Pricecompare here to find lowest canadian price.

From there, there is a function of the NCIX cart for pricematching... just give them the link to the lower price on all items, and then wait a day or two for them to accept or deny the price. If it's not a MIR or some form of "fire sale" they'll usually accept the lower price.

As far a shipping goes... if you select the Asus Motherboard at NCIX you'll get free ground shipping. :)

So if they are more expensive on every item you need to look up every item?

Oddly, the site won't let me request a match on the Case or motherboard?

Yep, but that's without pricematch.

Even if you pricematched every item to DC you'd get the same price, but chances are there'll be better prices than DC's at other canadian e-tailers so it'll be a lower price. :)

Excellent!!

Do you guys know why there would be no price match for the motherboard or case?

Never mind. It was a glitch. Working now..

Are they low stock items?

Not sure why else it wouldn't be, but I know the price on that motherboard has been going up a little bit every day with the drop in the dollar.

Total BEFORE Price Match$1,426.20YOUR TOTAL $1,118.52

Do I have to complete the order before I can find out about the price match?

I've completed everything except the final submit. I am worried they will charge their price for certain items they can't match, and leave the order more expensive than expected.
