Default Builds?

Hi, first of all i want to say that this board is amazing!
Many, many usefull informations here. Great people too.

Can someone explain me how this works?

I see builds everywhere which, i suppose, are made for desk computers and not laptops.

So, I guess, for a specific build, you need to buy all the parts, then, you need to buy the tower, the monitor and surch?

Im really interested in making a custom computer strong enought to run the craziest games around =) but I only have around 1k$

I just need to understand how everything works to set up my budget and everything ^^

thanks alot!

Hey CactusJoe, welcome to HWC!

Probably best to fill out the following.

NOTICE - PC builders, when asking for input on YOUR projects Please Tell

List any equipment you may have that you will be re-using in the new build. Lot of helpful people around here, but we need some more information.

Well with the budget it's a really nice start ... and you want to play the latest games ...

Do you need a monitor? If yes wich size you plan ... 19-20-22". It could become a big part of your budget.

Do you need the OS (Windows)?

After this we could help you a bit more.

By the way welcome to HWC forum .
