Question DC or NCIX for new build?

Hi,

I'm looking at building a new computer and currently looking at the suggestion from NCIX forum member "notree" who suggested the build below. I was searching the net for price comparison's and found this forum through DirectCanada. DC has better pricing on all items, but I was wondering if the forum members here would suggest going through DC or NCIX if they can pm?

I was also wondering what the forum members here think about the following build below. I won't be OC and currently I don't play games, but I might get back into that. I'll mostly use it for the editing home movies, CAD programs and multitasking. I'm trying to keep within ~1,500 budget.

Asus P5Q Pro
Antec Truepower Trio 650W
Coolermaster CM 690
Mushkin XP PC2-8000 Redline 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1000
Western Digital Caviar SE16 640GB SATA2 7200RPM 16MB
Palit Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E Video Card
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400
Samsung 2443BW-HAS 24IN Lcd
Samsung SH-S223Q/BEBN Black DVD+RW
OCZ Vendetta Heatpipe CPU Heatsink AM2

ncix using their price match system comparing it to dc?
May want to change the gpu cooler on the palit card, it works well but I found it noisy. You might want to take a look at this instead of the Vendetta 2

Well let's say if most of the products are cheaper on DC, go DC at least you'll get free ground shipping, plus any probs we have a DC Support guy here..

Unless you pricematch and find lower prices all around the coast, then yea use NCIX.

I order from both depending on who has the best all around deal at the time. Had good experiences with both. Btw, welcome to HWC!

I do the same. So far when I've ordered DC has had better prices and better shipping deals. It all depends on who has a sale on what.

I always PM DC and order NCIX, I just like being able to call them if something is wrong.

Eldonko, why call bro.. just use the DC_Support guy here, imo he is very fast at replying and I can guarantee everyone one who has gone through him can say he's been of great help..

I always call, when I want something resolved I want it now not when someone sees my message and has time to reply to it. Maybe it's just me but ordering from somewhere that has no point of contact other than a guy on the forums is not up to par with the type of service I demand.
