My System Specs

Default Super cheapie budget build.

So my friend has started a budget build, and he's already gotten some stuff.
250GB WD Hard Drive, 2gb DDR2-667 Kingston Value Ram, E2180.
So for $250 ...
He needs a mobo, vid card, case & pus.
Trying to lok for cheap ones off this forum.
For a board, i'm thinking of a P35 board.
For video card, i'm thinking something along the lines of a 3850 or better , but with the budget given , a 8600GT would fit more nicely.
Case / PSU - Good cooling and stable is what i'm looking for, if can't get good cheap ones off the forum will go with Antec 300 w/ Earthwatts maybe?

Antec Sonata III maybe since it has a 500W EarthWatts? Though that's like $120...

There's the NSK4480 which are around $90 with a 380W EarthWatts.

IMO I think you're better off getting a motherboard with onboard graphics for the time being since $250 really isn't enough...

Buy Antec NSK4480 New Solution ATX Mini Tower Case 3X5.25 2X3.5 3X3.5INT 380W ATX12V V2.0 Black
Like jdrom said, the NSK4480 just can't be beat for the price. Good case, great PSU. $88.

That leaves you with $162 for a mobo and GPU. I would suggest looking for a used 8600GT or 8600GTS, maybe even 3850, 3870, 8800GTS 320, 8800GTS 640, 8800GT 256 -- all can be had between $35-80 used. I've seen plenty on hardforum.

That puts us down to $82 for a mobo. Maybe one of these:
Biostar TP43D2-A7 ATX LGA775 P43 DDR2 1PCI-EX 3PCI SATA2 HD Sound GBLAN CrossFireX Motherboard - DirectCanada
Buy Biostar P31-A7 ATX LGA775 P31 DDR2 1PCI-E16 3PCI SATA2 HD Sound GBLAN Motherboard
Agile Electronics - Buy Mfgs Part-#:GA-EP31-DS3L online in Canada
NXSource.com - Buy Biostar G31-M7 mATX LGA775 G31 DDR2 1PCI-E16 2PCI SATA Video HD Sound GBLAN Motherboard
Buy Gigabyte GA-EG31M-S2 mATX LGA775 G31 DDR2 1PCI-E16 2PCI SATA2 Video Sound GBLAN Motherboard

Don't know how good these boards are, though. I avoided picking anything ECS/PC Chips, these are probably a step up from those boards.
