Super cheapie budget build. So my friend has started a budget build, and he's already gotten some stuff. 250GB WD Hard Drive, 2gb DDR2-667 Kingston Value Ram, E2180. So for $250 ... He needs a mobo, vid card, case & pus. Trying to lok for cheap ones off this forum. For a board, i'm thinking of a P35 board. For video card, i'm thinking something along the lines of a 3850 or better , but with the budget given , a 8600GT would fit more nicely. Case / PSU - Good cooling and stable is what i'm looking for, if can't get good cheap ones off the forum will go with Antec 300 w/ Earthwatts maybe? |
Antec Sonata III maybe since it has a 500W EarthWatts? Though that's like $120... There's the NSK4480 which are around $90 with a 380W EarthWatts. IMO I think you're better off getting a motherboard with onboard graphics for the time being since $250 really isn't enough... |
dang that P43 board looks like a sweet price. I'll probably order him one of those! and i believe gunner has a 8600GT fs. I'm trying to hold off a bit till i find something. |
