3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
Canada
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.
Any
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
no
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
yes
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
soon, gotta save up.

this is what I have so far.

Mobo: Aus P5Q
GPU: 4870 or 4870X2
PSU: Corsair 750W
Case:silverstone fortress
CPU Heatsink: Zalman

What resolution will you be playing at? If its at 1680x1050, then a 4870 will do fine. Then, you can save some cash and go with a P5Q-Pro, so in the future, you can put in a second 4870.

I agree with Infiniti and for the cpu heatsink, get a Xigmatek HDT-S1283 instead (cheap, very efficient and quiet).

I 3rd the Xigmatek heatsink or OCZ Vendetta 2.

If you want to squeeze the HD4870X2 into your budget, get a cheaper case.

I'd definitely suggest the P5Q Pro at least or even the P5Q-E. I don't really like how the P5Q is designed (odd shaped heatsinks, ATX power connector in a totally stupid place).

And for the hard drive, get a Western Digital 640GB. Way faster than that 500GB Seagate.

Looks good to me, although I'm not familiar with the cpu cooler. Don't forget to post a build log, and welcome to HWC! Seemed to have missed welcoming you before.

Or Xigmatek HDT-S1283 or even Kingwin RVT-12025. They all have the same design and same performance ;) Coolermaster heatsinks is so-so.
