Contemplating a wood PC

I took the easy way out and used Black Marble paint and it turned out pretty good, messy stuff though.
Took about 8 cans of the stuff to do an Armor case, about $100 with tax.

as long as you kept the dimensions right it would not require that much more then wood though a dremel with the right end could make easy work of most of the holes....it would be easier then metal as far as cutting holes and such...If the Romans/Greeks/Egyptians could work marble the Modern Geek must be able to do something.

Alot of granite facilities have a water jet cutter. They could do most of cutting and you can do some crazy intricate cuts with a water jet cutter.

I think you would use alot of L supports, and gutting out another case for the external would make this very doable.

What does your spray paint granite case look like?

Black marble paint? Sounds interesting. The only way I know how to paint a case marble is by manually emulating the marble with random strokes. If there's an actual paint, that would be awesome.

How much would the use of the water jet cutter cost?
