Build for a CDN Soldier.

I'm going to up my ante a little bit. I'll throw fifty bucks in towards buying a 9600 GT (from anyone or into a pool for new) that will run in SLI with the one that BALLISTX has donated.

We still need a mobo as far as I know.

I want this guy to come home safely from Afghanistan and find a decent rig waiting for him. He deserves it.

As far as I'm concerned BALLISTX, tell him to take his wife on a little holiday with the $800 that he has set aside (I know how little our people in uniform get paid). If he's not married to your sister, he must be the brother of your wife (brother in law), either way, tell him to go out and paint the town red, on HWC.

Keep it a surprise for him until he gets home, and let him know that people are truly greatful for what he has laid on the line for Canada. Ask him if he wants to join HWC.

So folks, the only other question is; will anybody else help us build a rig for this guy? I hope so! Let's do it!

He's my sister's husband. So my brother-in-law. I don't want to post his pic without his permission.

He's a Master Corporal with 3 RCR. This is his second tour to Afghanistan. This tour he has been over there since January. He serving in Kandahar. I know both him and my sister will appreciate all your generosity.

Understood. But we'll still need to see a build log from you and a picture of his face when you present it to him would be great! We're going to make this happen my friend. All the way!

We don't want to build too good of a rig for him. Wouldn't want to take too much of his time away from your sister when he gets home; lol.

If someone else follows me, I'll cover half of a new E8400: 80$ to 100$.

Now someone else must have a SLI-capable board available...
