Thanks, however, I had awful experience with Canada Computers, not sure about Infonec. Has anyone heard of Greytech and Extreme-PC (located in Guelph)?

IMO don't have somebody build it for you, do it yourself.

Extreme-PC's reseller ratings (what few there are) are pretty dismal, their style of marketing seems to involve overwhelming underinformed people with lots of numbers and graphs, and their prices on hardware are quite mediocre at best.

PC Village might be worth a look. I've only ever ordered one thing from them, but there were no problems or issues. They've got a few stores around the GTA.

Have you ever dealt with Extreme-PC? I tried to find some info about them but to no avail.

PC Village has reasonable selection and prices but I think that Greytech has more choices.

Just judging purely based on their website...

Extreme-PC looks like a gimmicky website who's business model probably depends on "n00bs" who know nothing about hardware and thus are willing to pay the price. Especially when I see something like this:
Quote:
10.4 GHz Total Quad Core Power!!!
That's what rip-off eBay sellers do...

http://www.extreme-pc.ca/about.asp?abandon=1 This should be all the information about them and where they are located.

Also http://www.pccanada.com/contact.asplocated on the Lakeshore

Funny thats sounds like MDG when they were advertising the dual cores at 5.8ghz for a while .

PC Canada link is dead.

I have had MDG computer for the past 6 years and not a single problem. It still works great, as a matter of fact I am working on it right now.

However, I have been browsing the web lately and found quite a few horror stories from people and their misfortunes with MDG. I don't know what happened to them perhaps their management is slacking....
